Encouraged by my mother, a passionate mountaineer, I discovered climbing at the age of 12, quickly I progressed to climbing mountains. For my formative years, I was dedicated to climbing, so it was a natural progression in 2003 to train for and join the mountain rescue team in Briançon, working predominantly in the high mountains for 10 years.
In 2011 I became a IFMGA Mountain Guide. I love to travel and to discover new places. I have climbed and skied in many exciting countries; South America, Norway, Island, Sweden and Scotland to list a few. Now I try to focus on knowing in depth the mountains of Europe and especially the Ecrins, here the possibilities are immense.
I have led skiing clients in Alaska, Norway and Iceland. I find skiing or climbing new routes enhances my creative side, picking out new lines in the mountains using nature features such as the giant couloirs of La Grave or the stunning cracks in the red granite of the high Alps. Equipping new mixed and ice routes gives me great satisfaction, especial if after, I can bring others to enjoy my efforts. I have carried a passion for the mountains since my teens and what gives me great pleasure in my profession every day is to share this passion with my clients and enable them to access these wild places.
